Heliflite has been the longest serving authorised Robinson Helicopter Company distributor in Australasia since 1977. Heliflite introduced the first R22 two-place helicopter in 1980, while the four-place R44 was first introduced in 1994 with both becoming the biggest selling helicopters in Australia. In 2011 Heliflite introduced the first 5-place R66 Turbine into the region. In 2016 Heliflite imported the world's first R44 Cadet helicopter into the region. Currently there are more than 1100 Robinson helicopters in Australia, which is over half the total helicopter fleet in Australia.
